Karen Smith OT provides private-pay occupational therapy services to focus on the best outcomes.  We will gladly provide you with the paperwork necessary for you to submit to your insurance provider to seek reimbursement from services based on your plan.  You can find this information from your insurance company directly.    

Our primary service area is Mattoon, IL and surrounding areas.  As intervention is tailored to your child, the location of services will depend on where it is needed most.  For example, the home, park, grocery store, restaurant, Disneyland etc.   Virtual services are available in Illinois and California.

Payment is due as services are rendered.  We accept payment by credit/debit cards following invoicing, using Simple Practice, our online practice management and payment platform for secure payment processing. 

My specialty is providing services for children from toddlers to teens, and young adults.  

Beyond the classroom, beyond the clinic, this is concierge OT.  Therapy happens directly at your home, or preferred location, wherever that may be.   School visits are an option with school approval.  

Services are provided based on a child's demonstrated need, not a specific diagnosis.
